Janessa and I on the beach. I chose this location for the proximity to the waves, and the strong foreground interest of the rock. The sun serves as her back light, and the softbox is for fill on her face.
I then moved us to a location near the waterfall. After a quick wardrobe change, I was able to get some fashion in a natural environment. The day was cloudy, and this shot was all natural light. The flash on the camera was not needed.
I chose this location for the strong graphic outline of the cave. A bit of extra light was needed in this area which was shaded by the cliffs.
I wanted to show a lot of movement at this location. I used three strobes to evenly light a large area for the model to work in.
For this sitting portrait, I wanted to showcase the pendant necklace which was on loan from a local store. The equipment was set to evenly light the model. A diffuser was required to tame the harsh sunlight (check out those strong shadows!)
